A Father’s Story

It’s been two and a half years since the initial treatment began. There were many heart wrenching periods during this time. Including one very severe reaction to a chemo med in which our daughter nearly left us. Dr Paul and Nurse Carol were amazing during this. So quick and confident to respond sacrificing their own safety, I am certain saving the life of our daughter. We will be forever grateful for this one incident alone. But also, for the entire treatment which brought our daughter through A.L.L. leukemia.

She is now at the end of her treatment and a beautiful young lady. She plays softball and loves music and art. She will begin her freshman year at high school this fall. We can breath a sigh of relief. We still see Dr Paul and Carol for follow up and monitoring. They have both become personal friends of the family.
